Use Rhydhm lawfully and safely.
Do not use the app where speaker tones, alarms, microphone use, or overnight phone operation would be unsafe, disruptive, or unlawful.
Terms
Use it as an experiment.
Rhydhm is an experimental sleep tracking and alarm app. It can help test phone-based acoustic sensing, but it should not be treated as a medical device or a guaranteed alarm system.
Medical
Not medical advice or diagnosis.
Sleep stage, movement, breathing, and wake-opportunity estimates are experimental. They are not a substitute for clinical sleep testing, medical advice, or emergency monitoring.
Alarm
Alarms are best effort.
The alarm feature depends on device settings, battery behavior, notification permissions, speaker volume, operating system behavior, and app state. Keep a backup alarm when timing matters.
Beta
The product can change quickly.
During development, features, algorithms, diagnostics, exports, and compatibility can change. Some builds may be unstable or produce incorrect data.
Data
You are responsible for exports and backups.
Local sessions can be deleted by app removal, storage cleanup, device failure, or software bugs. Keep your own backups if you need to preserve session files.
Liability
Rhydhm is provided as is.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Rhypple is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, health, alarm, data-loss, or sleep-loss damages arising from use of the app.

Permissions, sensors, and third parties
By using sensor, diagnostic, export, or alarm features, you agree to use them only in a way that fits your device, room, and local rules.
Permissions
The app may request microphone, notification, alarm, motion, foreground service, and keep-awake related permissions. If permissions are denied or revoked, related features may not work.
Third-party services
Beta builds may use services such as PostHog for high-level product analytics, and the website may use normal hosting infrastructure. Third-party terms and privacy policies apply to their services.
Changes
These terms may change as Rhydhm develops. Material updates should be reflected on this page when they take effect.
